Using PoolWindow means accepting these terms. They're short because the site is simple.

What the site provides

PoolWindow publishes modeled planning dates and general maintenance checklists for private outdoor pools, computed from public climate data as described on the methodology page. The content is informational guidance for timing pool maintenance — nothing more.

No warranties

The site is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Climate normals are statistics about typical years; your actual weather, pool, and equipment will differ. We don't warrant that any date, estimate, or checklist step fits your situation, and we're not liable for damages arising from reliance on the site — including equipment damage, water problems, or costs from acting on modeled dates. Follow your equipment manuals and product labels; where they conflict with anything here, they win.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site at abusive rates, misrepresent its outputs as NOAA publications, republish substantial portions without credit, or use the (currently disabled) subscription endpoints to submit addresses that aren't yours. Reasonable quoting with a link is welcome; the underlying NOAA data is public domain and available at the source listed on sources.

Intellectual property

Site text, design, and the model's specific presentation are © 2026 PoolWindow. Underlying datasets belong to their publishers as described on the sources page.

Changes

Terms change only via this page, with the date above updated.
